This is sturdy and works great with a heavy monitor. My only gripe is that because it takes the space of the top slot, the actual desk has to move lower down, and that doesn't work for me as a standing desk (I'm 185cm tall).

These monitor stands are also great for adding shelves to your WFH unit. I added like 4 of them, which makes my WFH desk a bookcase in addition to a standing desk. Adds great value to an already great product.

I purchased this Monitor Stand because 1) it enabled me to put my keyboard under it and 2) it gave me more writing space. I actually use the Monitor Stand for my laptop because I don't have a separate monitor. Then I put an adjustable stand under my laptop on top of the Monitor Stand. It sounds complicated, but the set up works really well for me. I love that I can adjust the height of the Monitor Stand depending on what I need to do or take it off completely.
