The midshelf seems to be a bit large - not quite large enough to be the size of the main shelf, but also not small enough to combine with the main shelf. It makes the lower mainshelf basically unusable - I have to choose between the two and I want to be able to use both to go from sitting to standing and have everything already in place.

Thanks for the review. Sorry that it hasn't worked out as you hoped. The mid shelf is as it says a shelf that is the mid point between our other selves. We also have a Front Shelf which is narrower and the double wide module lets you buy a second desktop shelf if you needed one. Did you consider either of those for what you need? Would they help?

This was easy to set up. It also gets my cats off my keyboard and mouse. Now they sit on this and just compete with the laptop. I find it useful to keep my keyboard/mouse area tidy and laptop more in line with my face for video calls. I use it as well to place my tablet within view. The biggest factor for me was how adjustable it was, allowing me to position it suitable to my height etc.

I just moved, taking my WFH desk with me. In my new home office setup, I no longer have the same storage capacity. That forced me to pare down, which is good, but my desktop was still cluttered with frequent-use items. This shelf added enough real estate to take care of all of that.

I have my monitor and laptop on the midshelf and my keyboard/mouse on the normal shelf. I got it because I wanted extra desk space but I think the mid shelf is a little long (too close to the person sitting at the desk) which makes it hard to see what is underneath it. In the picture it looked shorter but I should have measured it before buying. I’m in 2 minds about recommending the product or not.
